I've not been one to write down recipes in the past. This was a bad habit I picked up
from my mother. I also cook "on the fly", also like my mother, meaning my dishes are
never the same, as I'm always tweaking the mixtures differently.
This worked OK while I was working and Lori was the chief cook and I only did a bit of
"subbing". When I retired and we switched roles, I realized that I really should be
writing things down. (Many of my mother's wonderful dishes are lost forever because
she didn't write down what she did.)
So, I've begun to write down at least the basic recipe with which I start. (I still
modify things "on the fly". Que sera, sera.)
I trust you'll enjoy trying some of these recipes.
I'd also like to hear from you with your favorites. I'll add them with a "guest" flag.
Perhaps in the future I'll add a separate "guest" section!

I've made reasonable effort to assure these recipes are accurate.
I can't absolutley guarantee them, so use your judgement as you try them.
With the exception of Onnie's Hog Liver Pudding, I've made and enjoyed each of them.
(I enjoyed the hog liver pudding, as a child, but I never made it!!)
I trust I've given credit, where appropriate, for each basic recipe on which I've
based my work. If you see a failure to do so, please contact me.
