Pasta With Clam Sauce...Source: Jim Mixson
2 T butter
2 T flour
1 C milk
1 t granulated onion
1 can (15 oz) white or red Italian pasta clam sauce (undrained)
1 can (6 1/2 oz.) minced clams (undrained)
Linquine or angel hair spaghetti as desired. The sauce amount will
easily handle a pound or two.
Sea salt
Pepper

In medium sauce pan, melt butter and add flour and onion. Cook on low heat for
2 minutes, stirring frequently, then add milk. Continue cooking and
stirring on low heat until mixture thickens...a little thicker than
normal for a white sauce as the undrained clams and clam sauce will
be added. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add clams and Italian pasta clam sauce to mixture. Bring mixture just
back to a boil while stirring and remove from heat. Check seasoning;
correct as needed.
Prepare pasta as per package.
Serve sauce over pasta with, say, green peas as a side.
