Slow Cooker Italian Chicken.... Source: Jim Mixson (Significantly modified from a web recipe, source unknown.) About 3# boneless chicken breast. (Quartered) 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 C Creamy Italian Dressing 8 oz cream cheese, softened 1 C milk (+/-, adjust for consistency) 1 T Italian seasoning olive oil as required Montreal Chicken seasoning as required. Parmesan cheese as required. Coat the chicken with olive oil, and season. Microwave on high for about 5 minutes. Blend all other ingredients. Place blended mixture and chicken in slow cooker, mix well. Cook on high for 1/2 hour then on low for 3 1/2 hours. Serve over pasta (I used Ziti), sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Serve with a green vegetable side dish like green peas. |
