Tex-Mex Pepper Casserole...Source: Jim MIxson

3/4 pound hamburger
1/2 pound ground pork sausage
3 C chopped peppers (green or mix)
1 C chopped onion
1 can diced tomatoes (with basil and oregano)
1 cup bread crumbs
3/4 cup rice
1 C hot water
2 eggs, beaten
2 t Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup salsa
2 T taco seasoning
1/2 t cilantro
1 C shredded cheddar
1 C french fried onion
butter as required
olive oil as required
JGM mix as required (my concoction, see recipe
	May use other seasoning as desired.
Mix pork and beef well.
Sautee onion and peppers in olive oil and butter mixture. Season with JGM mix; set aside.
Mix/beat well:
	2 eggs
	2 t Worcestershire sauce
	2 T taco mix	
	1/2 C salsa
	1/2 t cilantro
Brown pork and beef in olive oil; season with JGM mix
Add above mixture and stir in.
Add rice and hot water
Add tomato
Mix well
Slow cook for 25 minutes (until rice is done)
Add pepper & onion mix and bread crumbs. Mix well.
Place mixture in 9 X 13 baking dish cover with foil
Bake in oven at 350° F for 30-35 minutes. Add FF Onion and cheese
	5-10 minutes before completion.
