Menong's Meringue Surprises....

2 egg whites
1/2 C granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla                     
1/8 tsp salt
1 (6oz) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Combine egg whites, vanilla & salt.  Beat till stiff but not dry.
Beat in sugar gradually until stiff & satiny.Divide the mixture 
into 2 equal parts, adding a few drops of red and green to the
other mixture. Fold half the chocolate morsels into each mixture.
Drop by teaspoonful on a greased ccokie sheet.  Bake at 300 degrees
for at least 30 minutes or until finished,
