Chili Con Carne....Source: Jim Mixson

3 # ground beef (lean)
52 oz kidney beans
3 cans (12 oz.) tomato sauce
1 T garlic powder
1 T MSG (optional)
1 T Black pepper
1 T JGM mix (see JGM Mix recipe)
2 C chopped onion
4 oz green chili's
4 T chili powder
1 t liquid smoke
1/2 C dry mushrooms (or 1 4 oz can)
4 bay leaves


Fully brown the ground beef until crumbly.  Saute the onions in butter.  While
doing this, place all remaining ingredients in large pot and bring to bubble 
boil (don't overheat and let it stick).  If the beef had a bit of fat, drain 
it off.  Add beef and onion to pot with remaining ingredients and allow to simmer,
the longer the better.  It gets better with reheats.
