This is believed to be a picture of my paternal g-g-grandfather,

Thomas Ellzey. This picture hung on our living room wall as I 

was growing up. Grandma Onnie always referred to him as 

"Grandpa  Ellzey". I interpret that to mean he was the 

father of my g-grandmother Katherine Rivers (Ellzey) Smoak.
