Vanilla Sauce.... Source: Jim Mixson as derived from several web recipes 1 C white sugar 2 T corn starch 1 C water (to consistency) 1/4 C melted butter 2 t vanilla extract Combine sugar and corn starch in a small sauce pan. Whisk in the water, butter and vanilla extract; blend well. Bring to a boil and continue for one minute, stirring constantly. Serve warm over bread pudding or similar dessert.
