Potatoes Julienne by Jim...Source: Jim Mixson 2 1/2# potatoes 1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 t+ oregano 3 T butter 2 T flour 1 C milk JGM mix (See my recipe for this.) Parmesian cheese, ground. Cut potaoes into long strips about 1/4 X 1/4 inch in size. Boil potatoes until a fork will slice through. Drain and keep warm. While cooking potatoes, saute the onion in the butter until tender. Add the oregano and a little JGM Mix while cooking. When onions are tender, stir in the flour and then the milk to make a smooth wet paste. Stir constantly while cooking an additional 10-15 minutes. When ready to serve, pour the mixture over the potatoes. Serve with garnish of parmesian cheese. Serving suggestion: Serve with broiled boneless pork chops, seasoned to taste with lemon pepper seasoning, Italian seasoning and JGM Mix.
