BBQ Sauce #1...Source: Jim Mixson



The BBQ sauce used at the 1999 Fall Fling was "imported" from

North Carolina at great expense and personal sacrifice!  We used

almost a gallon and a half.  To make it easier for you, here's

my own recipe for a vinegar based sauce which I think is pretty

darn good.  jim



1 quart apple cider vinegar

1/2t Chinese red pepper (maybe less...pretty hot stuff)

6T brown sugar

4T vegetable oil

1/4t ground sage

1/4t white pepper

1t granulated onion

1/2t granulated garlic

1T crushed red pepper



Mix all above and cook to boiling while stirring.
